Have Camera Will Travel
I am a still-life and editorial photographer whose work explores craftsmanship, heritage, and the quiet stories found in the things we make and use.
My foundation in photography began in the film era, where I learned the importance of light, observation, and creating the photograph in front of the camera rather than relying on the computer afterward. Those principles continue to guide my work today.
Whether I'm photographing coffee before dawn, a maker at the workbench, a weathered building, or the tools shaped by years of use, I'm interested in more than the finished object. I'm drawn to the process behind it—the marks of time, the evidence of craftsmanship, and the stories that often go unnoticed.
My approach is simple and deliberate. I prefer carefully shaped light, thoughtful composition, and images that feel honest rather than manufactured. My goal is to create photographs that invite people to slow down, look closer, and discover something they may have otherwise overlooked.
I believe every well-made object, every place with history, and every pair of working hands has a story worth telling.
